SIZE ME UP FORMAL WEAR TERMS AND CONDITIONSGENERAL: Your hire/sale price includes one in home fitting, one delivery to selected locations (see Delivery/Collection), pick up from one location and one alteration (hired items only).
This agreement is the entire agreement between the individual customer or person responsible for the group booking and Size Me Up Formal Wear.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Price increase will not apply to confirmed bookings.
Promotional or discount offers are limited to one offer per booking. Offers and promotions can be withdrawn at anytime without notice to any party.
IN HOME FITTINGS: A minimum of three full paying customers are required to quality for a free in home fitting otherwise fittings can be conducted at your local Size Me Up showroom, by appointment at no cost. REFITS: Additional in home fittings or refits can be organised at a cost of $70 per fitting. Refits can be held at your local Size Me Up showroom at no cost, these refits are strictly by appointment only. It is recommended that you conduct a second refit with your wedding party at your nearest Size Me Up Showroom by appointment on the day of formal wear collection. CANCELLATION: If you cancel your formal wear booking after your in home fitting, Size Me Up reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $70 per customer to meet the cost of consultant fees and travel expenses. A showroom in most local area’s is set up for formal wear viewing purposes prior to the in home fitting otherwise the Size Me Up Formal Wear products can be viewed on website www.sizemeup.com.au If your formal wear order (sales or hire) is cancelled within 30 days of the date of use you will be charged at the full rate of hire or sale for the garments without any refund offered to cover the fitting, alteration and preparation and general acquisition costs.PAYMENT: A minimum $70 deposit per suit is required to be paid on the day of your in home fitting and the balance payable prior to formal wear delivery, including bond money. BOND: A $200 bond is payable for each booking. This bond is taken to cover any damage that may be incurred to the formal wear or meet any incurred fees (ie second alteration fees, second delivery etc). This bond will be reimbursed once the suits are returned in good order and inspection complete. Your bond money is returned in form of cheque within 7 working days once suits have been returned. If damage to your formal wear is valued in excess of $200 you will be required to pay full replacement cost for the item/s. INCIDENTIAL DAMAGE WAIVER: An incidential waiver fee in the amount of $15 will be added to all hire agreements unless declined by the customer. This waiver cover to the following damage to items: A) Damage to zippers B) loss or damage to buttons C) suit protection covers. The incidential damage waiver does not cover loss, theft, or malicious damage including, but not limited to, damage of garments due to spilage, cigarette or other burns, splitting of seams, accidential tears, unremovable stains, ladder runs to garments as a result of pinning/ attaching additional items to your garments. ALTERATIONS: (Arm alteration) During your in home fitting your fitting consultant will take your arm measurements which will therefore determine your garment alteration/length. During the fitting your consultant will inform each person of their alteration measurement. You will be required to sign and acknowledge the agreed measurement length. Garment arm measurements can vary according to individual preference and style. The length of your arm measurement should see the garment ending between the middle of the thumb and wrist to within three centimetres short of the wrist. This measurement taken by your in home fitting consultant is called ‘Tailor Measurement’. If you prefer a second alteration within this measurement area this is called a ‘Preferred client alteration’ and a second alteration fee of $20 per alteration will be either charged or deducted from your bond to meet your preference. (Leg alteration) During your in home fitting your fitting agent will measure your leg length which will therefore determine your trouser alteration. During your fitting you will be required to sign and acknowledge the agreed measurement. The Length of trouser measurement should have your garment ending anywhere between your ankle and the ground, measurement of which depends on individual preference, comfort and style. This measurement taken during your in home fitting is called ‘Tailor Measurement’. If a second alteration is required within this measurement area this is called ‘Preferred client alteration’ and a second alteration fee of $20 per alteration will be charged or deducted from your bond to meet your preference. SUPPLIED MEASUREMENTS:Size Me Up Formal Wear understands that not every customer is able to attend the in home fitting or showroom for a tailor measurement. Often bridal party members are not local residents example, international travellers. In order to best fit such customers, Size Me Up is able to supply information to those members to assist them in providing their measurements or alternatively, the customer/s can attend their local Size Me Up Showroom at an appointed time for their individual fitting, at least four weeks prior to the date of use. All measurements must be provided to Size Me Up two weeks before delivery to allow alteration time. If measurements are sent to Size Me Up the garments are altered according to those provided measurements, the supply and correctness of those measurements rests with the customer. DELIVERY/COLLECTION: Formal wear will be available for collection or if delivery is offered in your service area, least three days before the date of use with no additional day possession fee charged for early drop off. Sale items are generally ready for collection within 8 weeks of your in home fitting. Free delivery is only offered to customers more then 40km from the Illawarra based showroom within the service area. Delivery can be arranged for customers within 40km of the Illawarra based showroom for a fee according to distance. Your formal wear is delivered to one location, if suits need to be dropped off at several locations this can be arranged within the service area for a fee of $30 per additional location. Garments will not be left at unattended premises. In the event that garments have to be redelivered because the delivery address was unattended at the agreed delivery time then a redelivery fee in the amount of $55 will be charged. Formal Wear delivery locations must be confirmed with Size Me Up at the time of your in home fitting. Where delivery is not offered your formal wear will be available for collection at an arranged date and time from your nearest Size Me Up showroom. GARMENT FITTING: Once your formal wear is delivered or collected you take responsible for ensuring your formal wear fits correctly. Early delivery or collection is offered by Size Me Up to allow the customer/ssufficient time to ensure correct fitting of the formal wear. You will be provided with a delivery date and time and it is recommended that your bridal party members be present at the drop offlocation in order to try on the garments when they arrive to ensure correct fitting while the Size Me Up member is present. Size Me Up delivers formal wear at least 72 hours before the use date (generally earlier). All formal wear must be tried on by the user/s within 12 hours of delivery. You must provide Size Me Up with a minimum of 48 hours notice before you formal wear use date if replacement stock is to be provided or second alterations is required. If a replacement item is needed you will be required to attend your nearest Size Me Up showroom to return and collect the item.FINAL CUSTOMER CHECK:The customer will arrange for all of the formal wear on their order to be checked for correctness of size, colour, and style within 12 hours following delivery or collection to ensure that all items are correct, complete and in good condition. Size Me Up will not be liable for any loss suffered by a customer who does not comply with this clause or nor will Size Me Up be liable for any loss of profit or any in direct or consequential loss suffered. Upon accepting your formal wear you will be required to sign a receipt for the collection of your garments and provide acknowledgement that you accept the formal wear as presented. PICK UP:Formal wear pick up of hired items is from one location only, generally the first Monday after use unless otherwise agreed upon. Additional fees of $40 per day per item will be incurred if all the formal wear is not available on the agreed date and time of pick up the customer is responsible that all items are returned on the arranged return date. Arrangement for Size Me Up to pick up your formal wear at various locations can be arranged for a fee of $30 per location within the service area. Suits are able to be returned to your nearest Size Me Up showroom after use through notification with Size Me Up staff. LIMITED LIABILITY:Size Me Up Liability in any event, is limited to the value of the cost of hire paid by the customer.
